The challenge
Clinicians at Lumen switched between six different tools to understand a single patient. Every product team had built its own interface, and the inconsistencies were slowing everyone down.
The approach
I audited more than 400 screens, then built a shared design system with accessible components, data visualisation patterns and documentation the whole team could contribute to. The new clinician dashboard was the first product built entirely on it.
The outcome
Teams now ship new features in days instead of weeks, and clinicians reach the information they need in a fraction of the clicks.
