The challenge
Atelier Sora makes small batches of hand-thrown ceramics. Marketplace listings made each piece look mass-produced, and new releases sold slowly despite a loyal following.
The approach
I art directed a new product photography style and designed a store built around texture, light and white space. Limited releases get a countdown and a waitlist, so collectors never miss a drop.
The outcome
Releases now sell out within hours, and the studio has moved all of its sales from marketplaces onto its own store.
